ThoughtSpot is seeking a Sr. Partner Solution Engineer to act as the primary expert for our analytics platform in partnerships and with sales teams. The role blends solutions architecture, sales, and product management with a focus on enabling partners and customers.

You will drive revenue through strategic partnerships, lead relationships with cloud platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and major cloud providers, and shape joint solutions with GTM and PMM teams. Remote work is available.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a comparable field preferred.
  • 7+ years of technical sales or solution architect experience.
  • 5+ years hands-on data platform implementations in cloud environments.
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL and Python.
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and similar.
  • Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake).

Job description

As Sr. Partner Solution Engineer, you will be the primary expert and ambassador on ThoughtSpot's place in the analytics ecosystem for our partners and our sales teams. This role is part solutions architect, part sales, part product manager. Technical competence is the foundation but communication is the heart of this role. You will be an innovator, an educator, an advocate, and an ambassador.

You'll have the opportunity to work with hyper-scalers, ISVs, SIs, and other channel partners to showcase the power of Thought's agentic analytics platform and how it fits into AI-forward architectures. You will not only understand our integrations deeply, but help shape them with our Product leadership. You'll help shape how our entire GTM team thinks about partnerships and become the go-to expert for partner products.

What you'll do:

  • Drive ThoughtSpot's revenue through product strategy, technical enablement, and support of strategic partners
  • Build and lead the technical relationships with ThoughtSpot's cloud partners (Snowflake, Databricks, GCP, AWS, etc.) on both product and field engineering fronts to turn them into champions
  • Create and evangelize tools & accelerators with partners - technology and SI - to incorporate ThoughtSpot into demoware, accelerators, and all forms of pre-sales & post-sales architectures & solutions
  • Develop domain expertise and thought leadership regarding ecosystem technology trends as well as in new areas for expansion to create and champion a vision for joint innovation
  • Build the business case and communicate partner needs, product feedback, and innovation opportunities to Product Management & Engineering to incorporate partnerships into the roadmap and backlog
  • Collaborate with Partnership GTM and PMM to develop joint product messaging, competitive intelligence, and objection handling
  • Work with SIs to incorporate latest releases into their solution development, architectures, and training & enablement
  • Provide leadership and enablement to ThoughtSpot's SE, CS, and PS teams on partner capabilities, building bridges between them partners
  • Survey the broader data ecosystem for new technical partnership opportunities and threats

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a comparable field is preferred
  • 7+ years of technical sales or solution architect experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with data platform implementations in cloud environments
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL & Python
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and similar
  • Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake)
  • Deep understanding of data warehousing, modeling & analytics concepts
  • An ability to quickly communicate complex ideas around a technical topic
  • Comfort working independently in a fast-changing environment
  • Tenacious, curious, and self-motivated, with a strong interest in both sales and technology
