Job summary

Sortation Labs seeks an experienced technical lead to design parcel sortation and material handling systems, guiding bids from concept through execution. You will craft layouts, validate designs, and produce detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor while aligning with customer specs and safety standards.

You will lead cross-functional teams, review complex project requirements, and communicate effectively with customers and vendors to ensure successful proposal development and on-site

Qualifications

• Must have O.E. or professional degree or equivalent with relevant experience.
• 5+ years in conveyance or material handling systems engineering.
• Proficient with CAD tools and BIM workflows.
• Experience reviewing detailed customer specifications and leading design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead bids and projects, ensuring designs meet customer requirements and standards.
• Design parcel sortation and material handling layouts from concept to detailed design.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure design consistency and compliance.
• Engage with customers to confirm site-specific requirements and specs.
• Produce drawings and models in AutoCAD and Inventor for proposals and projects.
