Qualifikationen

• B.S. Degree with 5+ years of Paper Mill experience or equivalent combination of education and experience with at least 2 years at the Paper Machine Superintendent or above level.
• General understanding of mill-wide operations and interdependency.
• Clear communication with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to define objectives and involve others in achieving them.
• Commitment to safety, quality, environment, production and cost improvement.
• Strong leadership with interpersonal, customer service, communication and urgency.
• Team leadership and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and plant information systems.
• Familiarity with Box Plant Corrugator operations and lean/six sigma certifications.

Aufgaben

• Manage the Paper and Shipping Departments, including two Paper Machines and related safety, environmental, quality and customer satisfaction goals.
• Lead safety systems and environmental management to support annual goals.
• Drive no-fail quality basics and customer-focused service.
• Develop and track cost reduction in chemical and operational costs.
• Optimize paper machine schedules to maximize production and uptime.
• Collaborate with Mill Controller to develop budgets and analyze financial results.
• Provide input to capital projects from inception to completion.
• Lead strategic improvement projects to reduce cost and increase productivity.
• Invest in people development and maintain positive employee relations.
