Job summary

Kentro seeks a Senior Palantir Foundry Engineer to lead hands-on design, development, and optimization of data pipelines and solutions for the USASOC CDAO. You will translate complex mission requirements into scalable Foundry data products, collaborating with data engineers, scientists, analysts, and government stakeholders.

The role focuses on secure, reliable data solutions, ontology modeling, and rigorous data governance in a mission-critical environment. Onsite in Fayetteville, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, data platform engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience developing solutions within Palantir Foundry.
• Production-grade data pipelines and data products experience.
• Experience integrating data from multiple structured and unstructured sources.
• Experience working with relational and non-relational data technologies.
• Experience in Agile software development environments.
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate mission requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products within Palantir Foundry.
• Develop and optimize Foundry pipelines using Python, SQL, PySpark, and Foundry-native technologies.
• Build and maintain Foundry data transformations and workflows supporting USASOC mission requirements.
• Develop and manage Ontology models representing operational data and relationships.
• Integrate data from enterprise, operational, and mission systems into Foundry.
• Define data ingestion, transformation, validation, and quality processes for reliable data products.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and mission users to operationalize analytical models.
• Mentor junior engineers and advance Foundry development best practices.
