Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Palantir Foundry Engineer to support the USASOC CDAO at Fort Bragg, NC. The role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and analytics within Palantir Foundry to support mission-critical operations.

The ideal candidate will have deep Palantir Foundry experience, hands-on data engineering skills, and the ability to translate operational requirements into scalable data products, pipelines, and dashboards for government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• DoD 8140 compliant certifications such as CSC, CSSLP, GCSA, GSEC.
• 5+ years of experience in software/data engineering or related fields.
• Hands-on experience developing solutions within Palantir Foundry.
• Experience designing/implementing production-grade data pipelines and data products.
• Experience integrating data from multiple structured and unstructured sources.
• Experience with relational and non-relational data technologies.
• Experience in Agile environments and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, datasets, and data products within Palantir Foundry.
• Develop and optimize Foundry pipelines using Python, SQL, PySpark, and Foundry technologies.
• Build and maintain Foundry data transformations, workflows, datasets, and analytical apps for USASOC mission needs.
• Develop Ontology models representing entities, relationships, and mission data.
• Integrate data from enterprise, operational, and mission systems into Foundry.
• Design ingestion, transformation, validation, and quality processes for trusted data products.
• Collaborate with data scientists and mission users to operationalize analytical models.
• Develop reusable data products and services for CDAO analytics and decision-making.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, data quality issues, and performance challenges.
• Ensure data governance, access controls, and security requirements within the platform.
