Job summary

Guidehouse seeks a Palantir Foundry engineer to design and maintain data integration, analytics, and application solutions. You will build scalable data pipelines, ontology models, and reusable data products, plus develop user-facing apps using Foundry Workshops.

You will integrate data across cloud platforms and external sources, leveraging Python, SQL, and PySpark, while enforcing data quality, governance, and metadata practices. Expect Agile collaboration and ongoing modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust; eligible for clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years developing with Palantir Foundry, including data pipelines and apps.
• Experience building Foundry Workshops and operational apps.
• Experience designing Ontology models for workflows.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (PySpark) and data integration from multiple sources.
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern data architectures.
• Familiarity with Agile, DevSecOps, and governance practices.

• Develop and optimize solutions using Python, SQL, and other modern programming languages for large-scale data processing and analytics.


• Implement data quality, validation, metadata management, lineage, and governance practices to ensure trusted, reusable, and well-documented data assets.


• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, data scientists, analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate mission and business requirements into scalable technical solutions.


• Support Agile software development activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.


• Prepare technical documentation including system diagrams, data flow diagrams, solution documentation, standard operating procedures, and implementation guides.


• Support technical modernization initiatives involving cloud platforms, enterprise data ecosystems, and AI-enabled analytics solutions.


• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or higher federal security clearance, as required.

What You Will Do

What You Will Need

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field; in lieu of degree FOUR (4) additional years of experience is required


• FOUR (4) or more years of experience developing solutions using Palantir Foundry, including data pipelines, transformations, data products, and application development.


• Experience developing Foundry Workshops and operational applications.


• Experience designing and implementing Ontology models supporting operational or analytical workflows.


• Experience with SQL and Python (particularly PySpark)


• Experience integrating structured and unstructured data from multiple enterprise data sources.


• Experience implementing data quality, validation, testing, and governance processes.


• Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google cloud services) and modern enterprise data architectures.


• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and DevSecOps best practices.

• Experience in consulting environments supporting multidisciplinary technical teams.
