Job summary

Kundlas Consulting Group LLC is seeking a Paint Inspector to test paints, primers, coatings, and related materials used in public infrastructure projects. The role requires experience with paint manufacturing, laboratory testing, color matching, ASTM test methods, and regulatory requirements for restricted chemicals.

You will inspect and test materials on-site, review sampling and laboratory results, witness testing at manufacturer labs when needed, and prepare inspection reports to support

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in chemistry or a related field is required.
• Minimum of five years inspecting/testing paints, primers, and coatings.
• Experience with ASTM and lab test methods.
• Knowledge of paint manufacturing processes and relevant specs.
• Familiarity with NYS and federal regulations for restricted chemicals.

Responsibilities
