Albany Med Health System is seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide compassionate care in the Post Anesthesia Care unit. The role administers medications, starts IVs, and follows physician orders while documenting treatments in compliance with policy and state regulations.

Requires NYS RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential to support a high-quality care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license and active licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required or maintained.

Responsabilités

• Administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, and documents care as required by policy and regulations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
• Assesses patient needs and responses to care; applies sound nursing judgment in decision making.
• Provides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients; directs ancillary staff.
