Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Santa Clara, CA seeks an experienced IC package design engineer to define the chip pad ring, substrate interconnect schemes, and lead the package layout design process.

You will collaborate with large teams across Circuit, SI, RTL, Place and Route, and system design to deliver a robust, world-class electrical package and floor plan.

Qualifications

• BSEE or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8+ years in board/system design.
• Experience with package design is preferred.
• Good understanding of transmission line theory, power delivery and signal integrity.
• Programming and scripting skills in Perl, Python, Tcl; Cadence Skill and Excel familiarity are useful.
• Hardworking and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
• You seek to solve complex technical problems.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD for Level 4, and 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD for Level 5.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
