Job summary

Alcami Corporation is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer to design and manage pharmaceutical packaging systems from concept through implementation, ensuring all components work together efficiently in a GMP environment. The role includes serialization support, change control, and training team members on new packaging processes.

The on-site position requires collaboration with operations to improve packaging line performance, adherence to cGMP, and up-to-date training compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's preferred.
• 3+ years of work in a Pharmaceutical cGMP environment is required.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage packaging systems from concept through implementation (bottles, labels, cartons, pallet configurations).
• Translate customer requirements into clear, executable packaging solutions.
• Lead and document specification changes with proper approvals and GMP compliance.
• Troubleshoot packaging issues and optimize line performance with operations.
• Train team members on packaging systems, processes, and best practices.
