Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Packaging Designer to create packaging that delights customers while supporting scalable fiber-based solutions across the supply chain. You will prototype and test designs using ArtiosCAD and SolidWorks, develop detailed specifications, and communicate design intent to stakeholders as part of the Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design & innovation, research & development experience.
• Experience managing engineering design projects.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Directly develop prototype and test new packaging designs using ArtiosCAD and SolidWorks
• Create visual renderings to communicate design intent to stakeholders
• Create detailed packaging specifications
• Produce reports on packaging performance
• Participate in or lead meetings to ensure developments meet benchmarks for customer experience, supply chain, and sustainability
• Travel to engage with customers, supply chain, labs, and vendors
