Job summary

The UCLA Health Department of Urology seeks a Sr. Physician Assistant (PA) to deliver high-quality patient care under the CICARE service standards.

The role includes independent review of medical histories, clinic and telemedicine evaluations, and comprehensive examinations with treatment planning and education. Responsibilities include managing prescriptions, addressing post-procedure issues, and handling Epic in-basket communications.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice as a Physician Assistant in California (NCCPA-certified).
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required.
• Minimum 3 years of PA experience in a urology setting.

Responsibilities

• Review patient histories and evaluate patients in clinic or via telemedicine.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop treatment plans.
• Manage prescriptions and provide patient education.
• Coordinate through Epic in-basket and respond to clinical questions by telephone.
• Carry out procedures as needed under supervision of attending urologists.
