Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Owner's Representative to support the construction, commissioning, startup, and operational readiness of large-scale power generation facilities powering critical infrastructure.

The role serves as the owner's on-site representative and trusted advisor, coordinating across construction, operations, utilities, EPC contractors, and project leadership to drive successful startup and handover.

Qualifications

• 10+ years supporting power generation, utility, energy, or large industrial projects.
• Experience with startup, commissioning, testing, and operational turnover.
• Strong power generation background (plant operations, utilities, turbines, power projects, etc.).
• Experience coordinating EPC contractors, engineering teams, utilities, and owners.
• Comfortable working on active construction and industrial sites.
• Must relocate to Abilene, TX or able to be there Monday-Friday.
• Must work onsite 5 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Represent the owner's interests throughout construction, commissioning, startup, testing, and operational turnover activities.
• Coordinate across operations, construction, EPC contractors, engineering teams, utilities, equipment vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Support power generation facility integration and operational readiness efforts.
• Facilitate communication between multiple organizations and drive issue resolution.
• Track action items, project deliverables, risks, and stakeholder commitments.
• Review commissioning plans, turnover documentation, construction packages, inspection reports, and change requests.
• Observe equipment installation, startup activities, commissioning, performance testing, and acceptance testing.
• Coordinate technical resources to support field issue resolution and decision making.
• Support training coordination, asset handover, punch list management, and project closeout.
• Build strong relationships across construction, operations, utility, and project teams.
