Job summary

Quantum Technologies. LLC is seeking a Senior OT Cybersecurity Engineer for a 6-month engagement in Atlanta. The role emphasizes hands-on OT/ICS security design, secure DMZ, and firewall configuration in industrial networks.

You will work EST hours, with quarterly travel to Washington, DC, and must have US work authorization. Strong communication and deep knowledge of NIST/IEC standards are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Cybersecurity / Network Engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with OT, ICS, SCADA network deployment and security architecture.
• Strong experience in network segmentation, secure DMZ design and implementation.
• Hands-on configuration of Palo Alto or Cisco firewalls.
• Knowledge of TSA Rail Security Directives, NIST SP 800-82 and IEC 62443.
• Experience securing train networks, onboard systems, fleet monitoring or wayside infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols.
• Good communication skills and ability to work EST hours.
• Must be available for quarterly travel to Washington, DC / Northeast Corridor.

Responsibilities

• Apply cybersecurity and network engineering expertise to OT/ICS environments.
• Design and deploy secure industrial network architectures.
• Configure and manage firewall policies on Palo Alto or Cisco devices.
• Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-82 and IEC 62443 guidelines.
• Coordinate travel for quarterly site visits to the Northeast Corridor.
• Collaborate with client teams during EST business hours.
