Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience estimating OSP/telecommunications projects.
• Ability to build unit prices from crew, production, equipment, and material inputs.
• Experience implementing or administering estimating software and cost libraries.

Responsibilities

• Builds unit prices from crew, production, equipment, and material costs for wireline/OSP projects.
• Prices both discrete bids and MSAs, keeping logic consistent across formats.
• Prepares 90% complete estimates from RFPs or bid packages with documented assumptions, exclusions, and risks.
• Reads drawings and blueprints to determine quantities, methods, labor, and equipment needs.
• Trains and mentors estimators on the estimating system, standards, and best practices.
• Maintains cost data accuracy with actual performance, labor rates, equipment rates, and pricing.
