Job summary

SimoTech is seeking an OSI PI System Administrator in Indianapolis, IN, to join our growing US projects team. The role focuses on OSI PI system design, configuration, and integration with DeltaV, BMS, PLCs, and remote I/O.

The candidate will provide daily admin support and ensure system health, security, and compliance across the Data Historian environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in automation/IT with OSI PI expertise, strong leadership, and excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in automation, engineering, or IT, with OSI PI expertise.
• Strong technical leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements, and computer system validation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee OSI PI platform design and configuration, including server infrastructure and interfaces with DeltaV, BMS, PLCs, and remote I/O.
• Provide day-to-day administration and support for the Data Historian system.
• Maintain system health, security tools, and applications; monitor issues and respond promptly.
• Review technical work and integration documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with System Integrator Engineers and Developers; support commissioning and qualification activities.

SimoTech is seeking an OSI PISystem Administrator to join our team. The idealcandidate will have 5+ years’ experience on in OSI PI Historian systemdesign/configuration in the pharmaceutical industry

Key Responsibilities

• The DataHistorian System Administrator will oversee the system integrator design andconfiguration of the OSI Pi platform including: OSI Pi Server Infrastructure,Integration with DeltaV and Interfaces with external systems including BMS, PLCand Remote I/O
• Provideday-to-day support and administration for the Data Historian System.
• Assist inmaintaining the Data Historian System, including servers, operating systems,security tools and applications
• Monitor DataHistorian System health and respond to issues as they arise.
• Review thework and work products that the Data Historian System Integrator produces.Including design specifications, network architecture drawings, testingstrategies.
• Workcollaboratively with the System Integrator Engineers and Developers
• SupportCommissioning and Qualification activities
• Provideperiodic status updates to Project Management.
• Co-ordinatesystem changes and update technical documentation.

Requirements

Qualifications &Experience

• Minimum of 5years working experience in automation, engineering, or IT, specifically OSI Pi
• Demonstratedtechnical leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge ofGMP’S, regulatory requirements, computer system validation.
• Interfaceregularly and provide formal and informal project status updates to ProjectManagement
• ExcellentCommunication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability towork independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
• Eligibilityto work in the United States.
