Job summary

Expedia Group, a global travel company, is seeking an experienced Enterprise EPM Architect to lead EPBCS and related EPM platforms. You will design architecture, govern data integration, and guide engineering teams across FP&A and Finance to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.

Responsibilities include enforcing best practices, mentoring engineers, and partnering with finance leadership to translate complex requirements into robust platform solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Technology, or related field with 10+ years of experience; or a Master's degree with 7+ years of experience; or equivalent professional experience
• Deep hands-on expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud with focus on EPBCS (Planning & Budgeting Cloud) architecture and configuration
• Demonstrated experience as technical architect or platform lead—defining engineering standards and guiding teams through EPM design decisions
• Understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting within FP&A and Finance organizations
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to guide teams through complex system, data, and integration challenges
• Proficient communication translating architecture for engineering and business audiences
• Experience in Agile or structured delivery environments with architectural leadership across cross-functional initiatives
• Preferred: cross-module EPM design including FCCS, EPCM, EDM, and Narrative Reporting
• Preferred: BI tools knowledge: Groovy scripting, Data Management, EPM Automate

Responsibilities

• Own the architectural direction of EPBCS and other EPM applications, including design, cube and dimension architecture, calculation framework, and integration patterns
• Establish and enforce best practices for EPM development, business rules, data integration architecture, and security models
• Provide architectural oversight across the EPM ecosystem (EPBCS, FCCS, EPCM, EDM, Narrative Reporting)
• Identify opportunities to modernize the EPM platform, improve automation and user experience, adopt Oracle Cloud EPM capabilities including AI enablement
• Provide technical mentorship and architectural coaching to EPM engineers through reviews and guidance
• Partner with FP&A, Finance, and IT leadership to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions
• Guide data integration patterns using Data Management, EPM Integration Agent, REST APIs, and enterprise data platforms
• Ensure platform solutions meet SOX controls, ITGCs, audit requirements, and change management standards
