Job summary

Toyota Financial Services' Data & Technology (DnT) department seeks a Sr.Oracle EPM Cloud Planning Engineer to advance our Oracle Enterprise Performance Management platforms, enabling strategic financial planning and enterprise analytics.

The role reports to the Manager, Finance Solutions and requires strong SQL, data analysis, and experience with EPM technologies. Hybrid work is available with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 7+ years hands-on Oracle EPM Cloud Planning experience.
Strong SQL and data analysis skills for insights and reporting.
Experience with reporting, analytics, and visualization tools such as Smart View, HFR, OAC, and/or OBIEE.
Strong project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills in Agile delivery environments.
Working knowledge of Oracle EPM technologies, including HFM/FCCS, FDMEE, OAC/Essbase, and scripting or automation tools.
Added bonus if you have MBA or other advanced degree.
Additional experience with intercompany eliminations, financial consolidations, and SAP technologies.
Knowledge of identity and access management, including connector server client configuration supporting SSO and MFA.
Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and/or Spanish.

Responsibilities

Drive strategic Oracle EPM Cloud Planning solutions that strengthen financial planning, forecasting, and analytics across the business.
Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to translate needs into scalable solutions that create measurable impact.
Improve and automate Finance Excel-based processes and controls to increase efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.
Manage EPM metadata, dimensions, reporting artifacts, calculation scripts, business rules, and data integrations to keep systems running smoothly.
Provide production support, troubleshooting, and user training that helps teams work confidently and efficiently.
Support SOX, ITGC, and financial audit activities to help ensure compliance and timely delivery of requirements.
Contribute to Agile ceremonies and cross-functional delivery efforts that support monthly, quarterly, and annual enhancements.
