Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator to join the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on designing, building, delivering, and supporting highly available, real-time data persistence for mission-critical applications and requires 8+ years of hands-on database administration with Oracle 12c/19c+.

The position is 100% on-site, offers collaboration with developers to optimize queries, security, and data structures, and may involve on-call

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience; degree may be substituted by experience.
• Active DOD TS/SCI clearance; CI Poly may be required.
• At least five years of Oracle Database Administration experience with Oracle 12c/19c+.
• Experience with PL/SQL development and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Plans and performs database planning, integration, and risk assessment.
• Monitors health, tunes SQL, and addresses performance bottlenecks.
• Designs schemas and structures per project requirements.
• Performs daily DB administration and troubleshooting.
• Monitors memory and performance using standard tools.
• Maintains documentation of data standards and procedures.
• Develops and executes SQL queries for routine and ad hoc needs.
• Implements security measures and manages user permissions.
• Collaborates with developers to optimize queries and DB design.
