Qualifications

• 10+ years of Database administration specifically on Oracle 18c and upwards.
• 5+ years of experience creating, updating and maintaining systems documentation.
• Experience with high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) database solutions.
• Experience supporting database replication and backup environments.
• Experience supporting clustered database environments.
• Experience monitoring production database environments and troubleshooting outages.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate impacts of change and new technology and recommend solutions.
• Follow and enforce database standards, policies & procedures.
• Monitor space allocation across databases and perform adjustments.
• Calculate disk space requirements for installations.
• Modify DBMS parameters based on capacity changes.
• Configure and execute database integrity checks.
• Install database base management software for development.
• Monitor for database integrity checks and issues.
