Job summary

UnityTec, an SBA-certified Woman-Owned Small Business, seeks a Principal Database Infrastructure Architect (Oracle Server) to lead design, security, and lifecycle management of enterprise Oracle databases supporting DoD/Federal missions. This onsite role is based in New Cumberland, PA.

You will direct architecture, lifecycle management, and automation efforts, mentor teams, and ensure solutions remain compliant, resilient, and aligned with mission requirements. A DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or equivalent required.
• Oracle database expertise and certifications (OCA/OCP) strongly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of DBA and infra-management experience in Oracle and/or SQL Server environments.
• Experience with DISA STIGs, IAVAs, encryption, access controls, and vulnerability remediation.
• Proven track record leading database teams and communicating with Government leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and sustainment of scalable Oracle database infrastructure.
• Oversee installation, upgrades, patching, backup, recovery, and lifecycle management.
• Configure OEM 13c targets, monitoring, automation, and reporting.
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance, risk management, and DoD security posture.
• Mentor database engineers and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop standards, runbooks, and change-control processes.
