Veriipro is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Software Engineer to design, develop, optimize, and maintain enterprise-grade database applications and reusable components. You will focus on Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, and performance tuning across on-premises and cloud environments.

You will collaborate with globally distributed teams, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure software solutions while contributing to CI/CD pipelines and architecture improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise software design and development focused on Oracle databases.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle RDBMS, database application development, and advanced Oracle database capabilities.
• Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL programming, including BULK COLLECT, bulk processing, and performance optimization techniques.
• Proven experience in database performance tuning, SQL optimization, query analysis, and troubleshooting complex database issues.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, database design, software engineering principles, and development best practices.
• 5+ years of healthcare data experience and healthcare domain knowledge.
• Experience developing and maintaining software solutions in enterprise and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD implementation and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo, or CruiseControl.
• Proficiency with Git and Jira for source control, collaboration, and project tracking.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, preferably with practical experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with globally distributed engineering, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise database applications and components using Oracle.
• Participate in full SDLC from requirements to deployment and production support.
• Develop Oracle PL/SQL solutions including BULK COLLECT.
• Tune performance and troubleshoot database issues to improve efficiency.
• Resolve production issues related to performance, stability, scalability, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with distributed teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Coordinate with offshore teams for design, implementation, and delivery.
• Contribute to architecture and ensure performance, security, availability, and maintainability.
• Evaluate new technologies and CI/CD enhancements.
• Support and enhance CI tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo, CruiseControl.
• Use Git and Jira to manage code and track progress.
• Follow Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to improve database architecture and automation.
