THE OPPORTUNITY

🚀 Senior Oracle Middleware & Database Engineer (Contract – Start March) | Freelance / Contract – Bay Area (3 Days Onsite)

We’re building next-generation enterprise platforms for a major digital transformation initiative — and we need a highly skilled Oracle Middleware & Database Engineer who can architect, build, and modernize mission-critical systems at scale. This hands-on engineering role will shape the backbone of enterprise applications and databases powering high-availability, data-driven environments.

An experienced engineer (8+ years) with strong development and architecture skills across the middleware, application, and database layers — comfortable delivering in complex enterprise settings from day one.

CORE EXPERTISE REQUIRED

• Applications & Databases: Proven track record designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise systems from setup and development through migrations and performance optimization.
• Oracle Fusion Middleware: Deep hands-on expertise building and managing WebLogic domains and clusters; deploying high-availability Java/SOA applications.
• Oracle Application Server (OAS): Installation, configuration, and management supporting large-scale Java platforms and integrations.
• Oracle Database & Informatica: Skilled with Oracle DB setup, upgrades, RAC, tuning, RMAN, cloning, and ETL pipelines using Informatica or Datastage.
• Docker, Java, Apache: Experience containerizing and scaling Java-based applications using Apache and Docker in high-traffic environments.
• Telemetry & Monitoring: Strong understanding of telemetry stacks (e.g., Telegraf-style collectors) aggregating data into analytics platforms like Incorta.
