Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Oracle Cloud Payroll Functional Lead (Commercial) to join our team in the US. This is a full-time role with travel to client sites as needed. Visa sponsorship is not available for this opportunity.

You will consult on Oracle Cloud Payroll policies, configure and manage Oracle Cloud ERP Payroll, and guide payroll processes and conversions. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver optimal client solutions and produce end-user documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as an Oracle Cloud Payroll Lead with 2-4 years implementing Oracle Cloud
• Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud tools (HCM Extract, HDL, PBL) preferred
• Experience with monthly/quarterly patch testing and issue resolution
• Ability to lead full SDLC including analysis, design, configuration, programming and unit testing
• Ability to define business requirements and suggest process improvements
• Create end-user documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Consult on Oracle Cloud Payroll policies and best practices
• Lead configuration and management of Oracle Cloud ERP Payroll applications
• Provide guidance on payroll processes and conversions
• Publish weekly status reports to project management
• Coordinate across modules to implement optimal client solutions
• Act as Oracle Cloud Payroll SME for business requirements to configurations
• Create and update test scripts for functional testing
• Maintain system processes and documentation
• Assist with continuous process improvement and best practices
• Support payroll cycle management, accruals, garnishment processing, etc.
• Collaborate with technical streams on integrations and reports
