Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to obtain security clearance strongly preferred.
• Experience with precision optical and mechanical metrology equipment.

Responsibilities

• Own optomechanical design efforts including concept development.
• Support optical instrument assembly and integration planning.
• Contribute to best practices in instrument development.

Skills

CAD proficiency (SolidWorks preferred)

5+ years of optomechanical design experience

Excellent communication skills

Hands-on experience with optical instruments

Education

B.S, M.S., or Ph.D. in an engineering field

STOP analysis tools (FEA, Sigfit, Zemax)
