Job summary

Arista Networks, Inc. is seeking a Senior Sourcing Commodity Manager for Optics to Strategically develop procurement strategies, drive time to market, and ensure continuity of supply. You will analyze spend, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships across global markets.

You will lead cost-reduction initiatives, build TAC/TOC models, and collaborate with Engineering, NPI, and cross-functional teams while mentoring junior staff and delivering measurable savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations or Engineering required.
• CPIM, CIRM and/or C.P.M. desired; 10+ years in networking/electronics purchasing or commodity management.
• Strong cross-site coordination, communication, and change leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops optics commodity strategies to drive time-to-market and supply continuity.
• Conducts spend analysis, supplier assessments, and selects suppliers per process.
• Builds TAC/TOC cost models and validates drivers with Engineering and NPI.
• Leads negotiations and manages supplier relationships to reduce total cost of ownership.
• Mentors junior supply chain staff and tracks performance against savings targets.
