Senior Optical Engine Validation Lead | Equity Included

CScale; Palo Alto (CA); Vor Ort; USD 150.000 - 250.000; Vollzeit

Zusammenfassung

CScale is building the interconnect to scale AI workloads across thousands of accelerators. You will bring up and validate integrated optical engines, defining the meaning of “proven” at engine and module levels, and drive test methodology from first light through EVT, DVT, PVT and qualification.

You will coordinate with firmware, packaging, and board teams to ensure robust performance and reliability of PAM4 transceivers, while preparing repeatable test stations and documentation for customers.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in optical transceiver, module, or high-speed link validation.
• Hands-on with test equipment for high-speed links and optics.
• Fluency in PAM4 metrics, jitter, BER analysis, and eye diagrams.
• Experience validating against IEEE 802.3 electrical and optical specs.
• Proven ownership of a validation program through DVT and PVT.

Aufgaben

• Own optical engine bring-up, testing, and validation with criteria and reviews.
• Lead integrated package and module bring-up including power sequencing and thermal behavior.
• Characterize host-side electrical interface at PAM4 rates per IEEE requirements.
• Characterize optical interface per IEEE optical specs (TDECQ, OMA, sensitivity).
• Execute end-to-end electro-optic link tests and BER/Q-factor methodology.
• Assess performance across temperature, supply, and process corners.
• Collaborate with design, packaging, and reliability teams on trade-offs.
• Transfer test methods to manufacturing and build repeatable test stations.
• Produce customer-facing characterization reports and mentor staff.
