Job summary

Riverside Research is seeking a highly skilled OPIR Subject Matter Expert Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Research Engineer to support the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency involving infrared sensing, space-based missile warning, data exploitation, and algorithm development for remote sensing.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance required.
15+ years of EO/IR algorithm development experience.
Advanced Python development skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

Lead prototyping, development, and support transition of advanced OPIR data processing algorithms
Evaluate and troubleshoot data processing, identify anomalies, and coordinate remediation strategies
Support development of white papers, technical documentation, and transition plans
Collaborate with research organizations, DoD stakeholders, and external agencies
