GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Operations Supervisor for the Weekend 2nd Shift to lead staff scheduling, training, and engagement on Friday to Monday from 2:00pm to 1:00am. The role emphasizes safety, policy adherence, and effective communication across shifts.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in logistics or warehousing, strong people skills, and familiarity with AS9100/ISO environments. A flexible weekend schedule is required, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant supervisory experience in a logistics/warehouse setting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field, or equivalent work/military experience.
• 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
• Experience in AS9100 or ISO environment is a plus.
• Warehousing or 3PL experience is preferred.
• Solid problem-solving skills and safety program knowledge.

Weekend 2nd Shift, Friday - Monday, 2:00pm - 1:00am

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Establish work schedules, assign jobs and train staff
• Guide, counsel and encourage employees; improve potential and champion high standards
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with onsite customers and other key partners
• Provide a safe and secure work environment through training and safety inspections
• Assist with evaluating employee performance, providing written and verbal feedback
• Implement and carry out all company policies, procedures and standards

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

It’d be great if you also have:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience
• 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
• Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience
• Solid problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to follow, promote and implement safety programs

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
• Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
• Reach (including above your head), bend, stoop, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
