Job description

Responsibilities

Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for a Senior Operations Research Analyst (Model Based) to support the Systems Engineering Department (SED) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. The program provides systems engineering support for weapons systems on various platforms, including technical research, development, analysis, and documentation throughout the acquisition lifecycle of Aircraft, Weapon, and Integrated Systems.

• Applies scientific, mathematical, and statistical methodologies to analyze technological problems related to engineering and scientific development of processes, systems, and equipment. Uses mathematical and computerized modeling and other analytical techniques for experiments, tests, and evaluations on weapons systems or equipment.
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices.
• Understanding of how system requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities are enabled by MBSE across the digital thread, requiring experience with systems engineering and model-based methodologies.
• Experience with SysML.

Qualifications

• Requires a Technical or Scientific MS or MA degree. Alternatively, a Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university with an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience may substitute for an MS or MA degree.
• This experience is in addition to the minimum four (4) years required to meet the overall experience requirement, totaling eight (8) years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of four (4) years of Systems Engineering experience with Model-Based Engineering/Digital Engineering applications and technology. Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo System Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator.
• Must hold an active DoD secret clearance and be able to pass a background investigation.
• Must be a US Citizen.
