Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Operations Quality Engineer to support ASI Stapling product families in a North Haven, CT manufacturing setting. The role focuses on quality leadership, investigations, and continuous improvement across operations.

You will partner with engineering and manufacturing, drive corrective and preventive actions, and ensure compliance with quality systems and regulatory standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 4+ years of quality, manufacturing, or engineering experience OR Master’s with 2+ years OR PhD.
• Experience supporting quality systems within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality engineering initiatives to improve product quality and manufacturing performance.
• Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to maintain quality standards and control methods.
• Develop inspection, testing, validation, and monitoring strategies for products and processes.
• Analyze data to identify trends, investigate issues, and drive corrective actions.
• Lead root cause investigations and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Support audit readiness and quality system compliance.
