Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead production and packaging operations at our Santa Fe Springs facility. This onsite role requires managing multiple shifts within a regulated manufacturing environment, ensuring safety, compliance, and on-time production to meet customer commitments.

You will drive continuous improvement, oversee supervisors and staff, and partner with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, HR, and other functions to optimize productivity, reduce waste,

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing multiple shifts within a regulated manufacturing operation.
• Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), pharmaceutical, dietary supplement, nutraceutical, or similar regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Demonstrated success leading large teams through growth, change, and operational improvements.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, KPI management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and implement operating procedures, policies, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production and packaging operations across multiple shifts.
• Ensure production schedules, output targets, quality requirements, and customer commitments are achieved.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs, including productivity, labor utilization, equipment efficiency, downtime, waste, and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate staffing, resources, and workflow to maximize operational efficiency.
• Partner with Warehouse, Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Human Resources, and other departments to maintain seamless operations.
• Identify operational challenges and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Support new product introductions, process improvements, equipment upgrades, and capacity expansion initiatives.
