MSD seeks a results-driven Chief Operating Officer to lead all corporate operations in alignment with strategic goals. This executive drives operational excellence, translates strategy into scalable processes, and maintains governance across product development, engineering, operations, and customer service.

The role requires deep experience in biotech or life sciences, and a track record of managing FDA/GMP-compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in operational management.
• A minimum of five years in a senior executive leadership role (VP or C-suite) with multi-unit responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Partners with CEO and executive team to develop organizational goals and strategic plans.
• Translates strategic objectives into actionable operational plans with milestones and accountability.
• Evaluates and optimizes processes across functional areas with KPI tracking.
• Leads core operational units including Product Development, R&D, Operations & Manufacturing, and Customer Support.
• Implements best practices to ensure high-quality operations and scalability.
