Responsibilities

  • Direct operations finance activities across a major program, portfolio, or multiple operating groups.
  • Own integrated financial outlooks and ensure alignment of operational plans, forecasts, and reporting.
  • Lead senior-level project and portfolio reviews focused on execution, risk, opportunity, and corrective actions.
  • Advise leaders on financial tradeoffs, resource deployment, contract performance, and strategic priorities.
  • Ensure consistent application of revenue recognition, project accounting, forecasting, risk, and internal controls.
  • Identify systemic performance trends and drive cross-functional responses with operations, accounting, project controls, procurement, and leadership.
  • Develop scalable dashboards, decision-support tools, governance routines, and management reporting.
  • Lead annual and long-range planning, scenario analysis, and business-case development.
  • Manage and develop finance managers and senior analysts; build succession depth.
  • Sponsor cross-portfolio finance transformation, system implementation, and process standardization initiatives.

Overview

As Senior Operations Finance Manager, you will provide strategic financial leadership for a major program, portfolio, or business unit. You will align operating plans with forecasts, drive performance reporting, and steer corrective actions to meet financial and execution targets. You'll develop managers and analytical capabilities while leading scalable process and governance improvements. You'll partner with cross-functional leaders to optimize investments, risk, and cash flow in a dynamic, safety driven environment. This role offers impact across large-scale projects and transformation initiatives within MasTec's power delivery footprint.

Key requirements
