Job summary

Bank of Hawaii is seeking an experienced Operational Risk leader in Honolulu to guide the risk assessment program, maturing RCSA processes, and coordinating with stakeholders to embed risk management across the first line.

The role focuses on implementing risk reviews for new products, scenario analyses, and ensuring timely remediation while driving governance, reporting, and continuous improvement across the enterprise risk framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
• 8–12 years in Risk Management, Operational Risk or Internal Audit with 5+ years leading programs.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and banking software.
• Experience building and implementing risk management programs.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with ability to influence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or support the implementation of BOH's Operational Risk program.
• Develop, execute and mature RCSA methodologies, templates, reports, and workflows.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain RCSA Universe and risk identification processes.
• Facilitate new product/service risk reviews and post-implementation assessments.
• Conduct scenario analyses to quantify tail risk with key stakeholders.
• Provide risk guidance and support to business partners across the organization.
