Job summary

Nordson Corporation is seeking a Sr Operational Excellence Specialist to lead the deployment of improvement projects aligned with NBS Next initiatives. You will teach and coach across all functions in CI fundamentals, data management, and reporting to drive KPIs and a culture of continuous improvement.

You will mentor teams, define CI strategy for ICS Business, standardize best practices globally, and collaborate with IT to deploy tools and processes that improve SQDIPC metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or relevant field; 12 years of relevant experience allowed in lieu of a degree.
• 8–12 years of SAP experience in Engineering Change Management, Production Planning, MRP, or Shop Floor Control preferred.
• 4–6 years of progressive continuous improvement experience demonstrating business acumen and results.
• Proficiency in Lean thinking with application in operations and transactional environments.
• Change management/transformational experience required.
• Experience leading process mapping sessions via SIPOC or similar methods.
• Experience building and tracking projects with a detailed project plan.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train and coach all levels of employees in fundamentals of Continuous Improvement and foster the NBS Next culture.
• Compile data, manage databases, ensure data integrity, build reports, and improve information metrics.
• Master complex data analytics and report development.
• Define and lead short- and long-term CI strategy for ICS Business.
• Standardize best practices across iCSC Business globally.
• Lead CI initiatives to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity and Cost across functions.
• Maintain project pipeline to support divisional initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
