Job summary

Unisity, LLC in Jessup, Maryland is seeking a senior cloud/DevOps engineer to implement automated, containerized OpenShift-based solutions across Linux, Kubernetes, and related tech. The role requires strong experience with Red Hat, Ansible, Terraform, and security/compliance, including IAT Level II certification and ability to lead design workshops and document plans.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a technical discipline.
• Experience leading successful modern cloud platform enterprise-level projects.
• Demonstrated track record of working in a strategic advisory role to senior IT and business executives.
• Ability to lead design workshops, create clear documentation, and provide knowledge transfer for Day‑0/1/2 planning.
• Applied knowledge and experience working in agile, scrum, and DevOps teams.
• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
• IAT Level II Certification (Security+, SSCP, CCNA Security, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Implement automated, containerized solutions, focusing on Red Hat OpenShift, including networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, high availability, and system resilience.
• Continuously learn, grow, and adapt to new skills and technologies.
• Travel weekly, Monday–Friday, to the client site in Jessup, Maryland.
