Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst in the Tampa area to support investigations across fraud, cyber, and security threats. You will lead data collection from social media, deep/dark web, and other sources, applying advanced qualitative and quantitative methods to deliver actionable intelligence.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in corporate investigations or law enforcement, and excellent communication abilities to summarize findings

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in open source intelligence analysis for investigations or threat monitoring.
• Experience within corporate investigations, intelligence community, or law enforcement preferred.
• Ability to collect, evaluate, interpret, and analyze data with strong analytical techniques.
• Strong ability to filter and prioritize complex data from multiple sources.
• Proven record of information gathering, monitoring, and analysis across multiple geographies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Lead open source analysis for investigations involving fraud, cyber, insider, and security threats.
• Monitor threats and collect data from social media, surface, deep, and dark web sources.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative methods to produce actionable intelligence.
• Identify and develop solutions to intelligence gaps.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to refine open source methodologies and tools.
• Deliver high-quality written products and concise oral briefings.
• Manage multiple projects with a proactive, self-motivated approach across global teams.
