Job summary

Everest Clinical Research Corporation seeks an Associate Director to lead open-source application development. You will design and implement SAS/R/Python solutions, align with CDISC standards, and mentor a team of developers.

Qualifications

• M.Sc., M.A. or higher in Statistics, Computer Science, or a relevant field with at least 10 years of clinical research and industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience implementing CDISC standards for regulatory submissions.
• Strong hands-on experience with R, Python, and SAS for application development.
• Experience applying AI and LLM tools for coding development and integration.
• Experience with GitHub or similar version control and code review workflows.
• Experience deploying applications in cloud and containerized environments (AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in defining and governing Everest's open-source application development strategy.
• Design, write, test, and maintain production-quality SAS, R, and Python code as a hands-on contributor.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory expectations and CDISC data standards.
• Oversee development of SAS/R/Python-based applications and libraries for data automation.
• Architect core modules and reusable libraries with clean, well-documented code.
• Mentor developers and conduct code reviews to raise quality and enforce standards.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for automated testing, linting, and deployment.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and automate repetitive tasks.
