Responsibilities

• Meets with patient and/or caregiver to collect information, explains visit and addresses questions.
• Coordinates with referring provider's office and departments to schedule visits.
• Verifies insurance benefits and obtains pre-certification/authorization as needed.
• Collects payments (co-pays/deductibles) or directs to financial counselors; ensures demographic and billing data are entered promptly.
• Maintains accuracy in the registration system and works in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
