Qualifications

• 3–5 years hospital pharmacy technician experience.
• Currently working at least 40 hours per week.
• Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) status required with ongoing CE within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to handle hazardous medications and IV admixtures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver IV admixtures and related medications.
• Maintain IV automation systems and supply par levels.
• Assist in training new staff and serve as a role model for technicians.
• Coordinate with Pharmacy Manager on equipment and technology.
• Ensure adherence to policies, regulatory guidelines, and charge capture.
