Job summary

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of verifiable construction experience.
• Experience across civil earthwork, formwork, rebar, concrete, structural work, and drainage.
• Experience managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) trades.
• Ability to read blueprints and coordinate construction schedules, quality control, inspections, and jobsite safety.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 50% of the time and to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, vendors, materials, and equipment according to the critical-path schedule to support timely project completion.
• Monitor subcontractor performance for compliance with contracted scopes of work, project specifications, and quality standards; issue non-compliance notices and verify correction of deficiencies.
• Oversee jobsite safety and identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Walk all project units daily to monitor progress, identify conflicts, and support upcoming work planning; communicate issues to the project team for resolution.
• Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and communicate with the project team about architect’s supplemental instructions (ASIs), requests for information (RFIs), and material submittals.
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions and assist with permits and approvals for revisions.
• Maintain daily written jobsite activity logs, collect material submittals, and keep approval records at the jobsite.
• Read and interpret blueprints, identify deficient work, and coordinate resolution.
• Identify work outside subcontracted scopes and assist with budgeting, bidding, and subcontract awards.
• Manage progress and final punch lists, including identification and completion of outstanding items.
• Keep the jobsite clean and organized, open it at the start of the day, and secure it at the end of the day.
