Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is seeking a Safety Manager for Maiden, NC to ensure OSHA-compliant practices, lead daily safety meetings, and manage incident reporting and investigations. The role includes daily audits and overseeing subcontractors to maintain a safe work environment.

You will supervise fall protection, scaffolding, steel erection, and excavation activities, driving HazTek's safety culture and adherence to core values across projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in safety related field is preferred.
• OSHA 510 and/or 500 a plus.
• 7+ years of direct construction safety experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and safety audits/inspections.
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations.
• Oversee all subcontractors and contractors.
• Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection and Excavation safety.
