Qualifications

  • Certifications within six months: Confined Space Entry, Trenching and Excavation, and Flagger.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, repair, and replace water and sewer lines and related components.
  • Read maps, use GPS and GIS, enter location details, and complete work orders.
  • Transport materials and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Operate equipment (bobcat, backhoe, loaders) as needed.
  • Perform safe work practices, flag traffic, wear PPE, and ensure safety.
  • Provide emergency coverage and standby as required.
  • Occasionally dig, trench, and restore landscape after repairs.
  • Inspect equipment and prepare for safe operation each day.
