Job summary

Columbia Sportswear, headquartered near Portland, Oregon, seeks a Senior Omni Planner - SOREL to own style-level forecasts from pre-season estimates to in-season monthly demand. The role is hybrid with four onsite days per week, subject to change based on business needs.

You will build seasonal and monthly forecasts, integrate market trends and account opportunities, and coordinate with Sales, eCommerce, and Merchandising to drive consensus forecasts that support product planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5-8 years in forecasting or demand planning.
• Experience with SAP and Blue Yonder preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build seasonal and monthly demand forecasts at the style and style-color level that align with category revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.
• Develop accurate forecasts by incorporating market trends, customer demand, advertising plans, sell-through performance, cancellation trends, and account-level opportunities.
• Reconcile style-level forecasts against financial targets and recommend adjustments to ensure business objectives are achieved.
• Partner with Sales, eCommerce, and Merchandising teams to create consensus seasonal forecasts that support line development and product planning decisions.
• Support line planning, SKU optimization, and long-range material planning through detailed full-price sales forecasting.
• Identify and communicate forecast risks, opportunities, and confidence levels to enable informed decision-making across the business.
• Drive continuous improvement in forecasting processes, tools, and models through data analysis and operational insights.
• Serve as a subject matter resource and mentor by sharing forecasting best practices and supporting team development.
