Oceaneering Canada is seeking an experienced Senior ROV Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize ROV systems offshore, ensuring readiness for offshore operations in Newfoundland and Labrador. You will mentor junior technicians and lead maintenance during vessel and MODU campaigns.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and operational excellence, with exposure to cutting-edge subsea technologies and a collaborative team environment on long-term projects.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma.
• Experience as an ROV Sr. Technician (domestic or international).
• Must be able to obtain a valid Passport and offshore work documents as appropriate.
• Engineering Technologist or Technician diploma preferred.
• Valid offshore training including Basic Survival Training (CAPP compliant).
• WHMIS, H2S Alive, Fall Protection and Regulatory Awareness are preferred.

Aufgaben

• Maintain, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair ROV systems and support equipment.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities offshore and ensure equipment readiness.
• Mentor technicians and provide on‑the‑job training.
• Participate in risk assessments, safety initiatives, and permit-to-work processes.
• Prepare technical reports and maintenance documentation.
