Invicti is seeking a hands-on offensive security researcher to turn vulnerability and malware knowledge into scalable detection content. You will own security checks, write precise detection rules, and ensure low false positives while collaborating across product, AI/ML, and infrastructure teams.

You will explore novel threats, publish research, and contribute to CVEs, tool releases, and industry discussions.

Qualificações

• Broad knowledge of programming languages, especially JavaScript and Python.
• Strong understanding of security principles, standards, and best practices.
• Experience writing detection logic for DAST scanners and related tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Create new detection rules (OpenGrep) to catch novel malware and patterns.
• Extend support for new languages across the analysis pipeline.
• Research and prototype attacks to translate findings into production detections.
• Collaborate with engineering to ship research outputs and maintain detection quality.
