R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Security Engineer to drive hands-on penetration testing across infrastructure, networks, and applications in a healthcare-technology environment.

You will work across AWS/Azure/GCP, build and extend security tooling, and translate findings into clear remediation guidance for engineering and executive stakeholders. Strong comms and autonomy are essential in this fast-paced, matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on penetration testing across infrastructure and applications.
• Recognized offensive security certification (OSCP, GPEN, GWAPT, GXPN, CEH).
• Experience testing in AWS/Azure/GCP cloud environments.
• Familiar with MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP Testing Guide, PTES.
• Proficient with security tooling and scripting to speed up testing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute penetration tests across internal and external infrastructure, networks, and web and mobile apps.
• Perform application security testing—manual and tool-assisted—integrated with SDLC.
• Test across multiple cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) including IAM and exposure checks.
• Document findings with risk ratings, steps to reproduce, and remediation guidance.
• Collaborate with engineering, infra, and product teams to validate fixes and reduce remediation time.
