Job summary

ACT1 Federal LLC. seeks a Senior Offensive Duty Officer (SODO) at Hurlburt Field, FL to replicate offensive operations and coordinate ATO missions during joint exercises. This onsite, full-time contingent role requires active TS/SCI clearance and extensive AOC experience.

You will work with the 505th CTS AOC RC, utilizing Falconer and basic AOC tools to ensure proper tasking and execution of assigned assets, while coordinating changes with multiple agencies and locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive AOC experience as a Combat Operations Duty Officer (e.g., FDO, SEAD DO, TCT Chief, Interdiction DO or CAS DO), culminating as SODO or CCO.
• Minimum 2 years as an Offensive Operations Team Mentor, Offensive Operations White Cell member, or AOC Combat Operations instructor.
• Operational background in bomber, fighter or air battle management; pilot, navigator or Air Battle Manager experience required.
• Detailed knowledge of AFTTP 3-3 doctrinal processes for positions under the SODO.
• Subject Matter Expert with the Falconer Weapon System and common AOC tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and effective use of ATO-assigned assets and monitor execution against the ATO.
• Assess changes affecting the ATO, research options and make adjustments.
• Coordinate mission-tasking changes with duty officers, technicians, controlling agencies and coordination elements.
• Maintain awareness of AOC positions interacting with the SODO and cells.
• Attend exercise planning conferences as AOC RC representative and liaison at forward locations.
• Use Falconer Weapon System and common AOC tools to support exercise execution.

Description:

The Senior Offensive Duty Officer (SODO) supports the 505th CTS AOC RC by replicating Combat Operations Division offensive operations and coordinating the effective execution of Air Tasking Order (ATO) missions during joint exercises.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of progressive AOC experience as a Combat Operations Duty Officer, such as FDO, SEAD DO, TCT Chief, Interdiction DO or CAS DO, culminating as SODO or CCO.
• Minimum 2 years as an Offensive Operations Team Mentor, Offensive Operations White Cell member, or AOC Combat Operations instructor.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Operational background in bomber, fighter or air battle management; pilot, navigator or Air Battle Manager experience required.
• Detailed knowledge of AFTTP 3-3 doctrinal processes for positions falling under the SODO.
• Subject Matter Expert proficiency with the Falconer Weapon System and common tools used on an AOC operations floor.
• Comprehensive understanding of AOC positions that interact with the SODO and subordinate cells.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
