Job summary

Quantum Sky is seeking a senior Offensive Cyber/AI-ML Engineer to pair hands-on security research with state-of-the-art AI/ML engineering for government-grade missions. You will prototype quickly, ship tools, and shape how AI is applied to hard security problems.

In this role you will reverse engineer software and firmware, conduct vulnerability research, and develop exploits, while mentoring peers and setting technical standards across our offensive cyber and AI work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Reverse engineering with tools such as Ghidra and IDA Pro, working from binaries.
• Strong low-level fundamentals in assembly and Windows/Linux internals.
• Vulnerability research and exploit development using fuzzing and dynamic analysis.
• Strong programming in Python and C/C++.
• Applied AI/ML experience with PyTorch and open-source LLMs/tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Reverse-engineer software and firmware and conduct vulnerability research across targets and architectures.
• Develop proof-of-concept exploits and produce findings for offensive operations and defensive hardening.
• Apply AI/ML, including large language models, to accelerate security research and automation.
• Build machine-learning models that detect anomalous/malicious behavior in high-volume data.
• Prototype capabilities quickly and mature the best into deployable tools.
• Collaborate across the engineering team and mentor others; set the technical bar for offensive cyber and AI work.
